HMS PRESIDENT RETURNS TO ACTION AT WINDSOR WITH AN EMPHATIC WIN
HMS President, who ran well until needing the race in the Spring Mile at Newbury, was back up in trip at Windsor on Monday evening May 10th. He was given a good ride by William Buick, who had him in a good position just behind the leaders and when asked for an effort he found plenty and stayed on well for a convincing success.
Eve Johnson Houghton’s horses are back in form with several winners in the last week, after being on the dreaded “cold” list. HMS President has some very good form to his name, particularly last year when fourth at Royal Ascot and this win at Windsor was well deserved and gave his enthusiastic owners a good evening out.
